Overview
Wedge excision is a surgical procedure to remove a portion of an ingrown toenail to alleviate pain and prevent recurrence.

Procedures
- Preparation: Patients are given guidelines on preparing for the procedure.
- During the Surgery: The toe is numbed with local anesthesia, a wedge-shaped portion of the ingrown nail is removed, and a chemical may be applied to prevent regrowth.
