Overview
A punch biopsy is a diagnostic procedure used to remove a small sample of skin tissue for examination under a microscope.

Procedures
- Preparation: Patients are informed on how to prepare for the biopsy.
- During the Surgery: The area is numbed with local anesthesia, a circular blade (punch) is used to cut out a small core of skin, and the wound is stitched.
